Being a coach means a lot more than teaching skills. It means being able to teach a quality class to students of all ages and abilities, while knowing how to handle a number of situations that may arise. Texas Parkour teaches coaches how to provide top-notch service while keeping students safe and having fun!

Meet with a Texas Parkour Master Coach for a final evaluation and earn your coaching certification!
Step 1 – Apply

Before applying to be a coach, please make sure you meet the minimum standards:
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- Must have a current First Aid / CPR /AED certification
- Must have a SafeSport Certification.
The two certifications listed above are required by the end of step 3: evaluation. They are not required to apply.
Step 2 – Take intro course online
After applying, we’ll review your submission. If approved, we’ll email you a link to the online course. The course covers the following material:
- Standards of a Texas Parkour Coach.
- Level 1 Curriculum
- Safety and spotting
- Class / lesson formats
Step 3 – In-person evaluation
Once complete the online intro course and pass the quiz, we will work with you and your schedule to do an in-person evaluation. The evaluation will encompass the following:
- Knowledge check of intro course
- Physical evaluation
- Coaching evaluation
- Final Test
Upon completion of the course and passing the final test, you will receive the official Level 1 Texas Parkour Coach Certificate.
