What do the kid’s do in class?

Kids ages 3 and up will learn fundamental movement skills that will enhance their ability to navigate any environment and avoid injury. They learn how to absorb impact from drops, jump and land with good form, vault over walls, and more. The structured curriculum builds on itself on a week-by-week basis starting with fundamental movements and working towards more advanced skill sets. Set your kid(s) up for success and give them the gift of movement this semester!

Curriculum

Texas Parkour coaches follow a flexible curriculum that can be adaptable to fit the needs of each school we cater to. With variations in program lengths, the curriculum focuses on the core principles first: Landings, Rolls, Precisions (jumping), Vaulting, and Quadrupedal movement (crawling).

Class Schedule

Ages 3 and up

Wednesdays @ 10am – 11am

15 sessions: September 2nd – December 16th (excluding November 25th).

Dress Code

Safety is the #1 priority. The coach may prohibit or limit the participation of students who do not follow the class dress code.

Students are required to have closed toed athletic shoes. Coaches may allow kids to be barefoot depending on the lesson, but students must come prepared to wear shoes. Shoes with solid rubber bottoms (not foam) are the best for grip and safety. Foam bottom shoes tend to slip on obstacles.

Athletic, flexible clothing is best. Clothing that restricts movement is not recommended. Long dresses are prohibited. Short dresses are acceptable when paired with athletic shorts.

Long hair must be tied back and not interfere with eyesight.

No jewelry and/or accessories.

Student code of conduct

Students must follow the code of conduct listed below. Failure to follow the code of conduct may result in temporary or permanent removal from the program, no refunds.
